First Seed began as a conversation between sisters, and a wish to bring old wisdom back into everyday life.
The beginning
Two sisters, one first seed.
We grew up around the traditions our grandmothers kept: the teas, the oils, the small daily ceremonies that made ordinary days feel tended to. Somewhere along the way, the modern world let that knowing slip.
So we set out to revive it. To make the good things by hand, to curate the rest with care, and to share both from our home in New Zealand.
What we stand for
Made slowly. Chosen carefully.
Some things we make ourselves, in small batches. The rest we curate, bringing together makers and brands we genuinely trust, so you don’t have to wade through the noise.
Natural, traceable, and quietly beautiful. That is the whole promise.
